Kayce Hawk

My Story

Kayce Hawk is a passionate cattle rancher dedicated to sustainable agriculture and ethical animal husbandry. Her love for animals started early—she began riding horses at just five years old. Over the years, her riding career has spanned from 4-H and hunter jumpers to more traditional California horsemanship, which she currently practices with her Oldenberg, Grace.
 

Kayce and Colin were fortunate to have two ranching mentors who helped ignite their passion for raising cattle. For Kayce, CG Cattle Company is the perfect way to blend her lifelong love of horses with a deep desire to understand and control where her food comes from.
 

Prior to starting the ranch, Kayce was a vegetarian for seven years—driven by concerns about the unknown origins, treatment, and quality of the meat available to her. Raising her own cattle means she can ensure a humane, stress-free life for the animals from start to finish. Every decision at CG Cattle Company reflects her belief in ethical ranching, where both land and livestock are treated with the utmost care and respect.
